EQALL + Slack.
Connect EQALL to Slack via Slack OAuth. Your notifications land in one place, the EQALL channel in your workspace: a Prepare summary at the start of your day, and a Respond summary with next steps after every meeting. Turn it on in Notification Settings, authenticate with Slack, and you are done.
What this integration does
EQALL connects to Slack via Slack OAuth. Once authorized, EQALL posts your notifications into the EQALL channel in your workspace. One channel, one consent flow, nothing else.

Both notifications are turned on by default. You can change what you receive at any time in Settings → Notification Settings.
EQALL posts to Slack. It does not read Slack. EQALL writes to the EQALL channel and nothing more. It does not read that channel, your direct messages, or any other conversation in your workspace, it requests no message history permissions, and it does not send or store files. Meeting content still comes from your collaboration tools or from voice notes on iPhone and iPad.
Slack is a separate authorization step. You sign in to EQALL with Google or Microsoft using your company email, then connect Slack from EQALL Settings. See Connecting to Slack below for the full flow.
Get Started with EQALL
If your team is new to EQALL, complete these steps first. Setup takes about five minutes.
Go to eqall.com/en/register/login or download EQALL from the App Store. Select Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft using your company email. Allow all permissions for the best experience.
Complete a one-time LinkedIn sign-in to create your account. EQALL uses it only to validate your first and last name and email address, and to add your profile photo.
Go to Avatar Image → Products & Services and review what EQALL has pre-populated. This powers your personalized insights and deal recommendations.
Go to Settings → Notification Settings. Prepare and Respond are both turned on by default. This is also one of the two places you can connect Slack, covered in Connecting EQALL to Slack below.
Permissions Requested
EQALL requests the following Slack OAuth scopes. All four are required, and there are no optional scopes. EQALL asks for the minimum needed to post your notifications and identify your account.

No read access to your conversations, and no file access. EQALL does not request channels:history, groups:history, im:history, search:read, or files:write. There is no technical path for EQALL to see what your team says in Slack, and no files are sent or stored.
Admin Consent Options
Slack defaults to user-level consent. If your workspace requires approval for third-party apps, an admin must approve EQALL before users can authorize.
Option 1. User authorization (default)
By default, Slack allows members to grant consent to EQALL directly during the OAuth flow. No admin action is required.
- User clicks Connect in EQALL.
- Slack displays the permissions consent screen for the selected workspace.
- User reviews and approves the requested scopes.
- OAuth tokens are issued per user.
- EQALL can post only to the EQALL channel the user selects during authorization.
- Access can be revoked at any time in Slack under Apps → EQALL → Configuration.
Option 2. Admin approves EQALL (restricted workspaces)
If your workspace has app approvals turned on, a Slack admin or owner must approve EQALL before anyone can connect it.
- User clicks Connect in EQALL and submits a request from the Slack consent screen.
- Admin signs in to Slack and opens Settings & administration → Manage apps.
- Admin opens App Requests, locates EQALL, reviews the scopes, and clicks Approve.
- Users can now authorize EQALL through the standard Slack OAuth flow.
- Admins can pre-approve EQALL from the same console before any request arrives.
- Approval can be revoked at any time, which disconnects every user in the workspace.
Option 3. Org-level install on Enterprise Grid
On Enterprise Grid, an org owner can install EQALL once at the organization level and assign it to the workspaces that should have it.
- Org owner signs in to Slack and opens the organization settings.
- Navigate to Manage apps → Installed apps at the org level.
- Install EQALL, review the scopes, and assign the workspaces that should have access.
- Users in the assigned workspaces can connect EQALL with no further approval.
- Scopes are governed centrally and the install appears in the org audit logs.
- The org owner can remove or reassign EQALL at any time.
Connecting EQALL to Slack
Slack is connected as a separate step after you sign in to EQALL. There are two places to turn it on, and both end at the same Slack authorization. Use whichever you are already in.
Path 1. Settings → Notification Settings
Start from the notifications themselves, then connect Slack as the place to send them.
- Go to Avatar → Settings → Notification Settings.
- Click Slack and complete the Slack authentication.
- When you return to EQALL, open Notification Settings again and select the notifications you want. Prepare and Respond are both on by default.
Path 2. Settings → Integrations → Notification Channels
Start from the integration, then personalize what it sends.
- Go to Avatar → Settings → Integrations → Notification Channels.
- Turn on the Slack integration and complete the Slack authentication.
- Open Settings → Notification Settings to personalize. All notifications are on by default.
What happens in Slack
Complete your workspace sign-in using Slack's native authentication: an email magic link, your password, Sign in with Google or Apple, or your organization's SSO. If you belong to more than one workspace, select the one where you want EQALL notifications.
Slack displays the OAuth consent screen listing the scopes EQALL is requesting, and asks you to choose the EQALL channel it can post to. See the Permissions Requested section above for the full list. Click Allow to complete the OAuth flow.
EQALL redirects you back. The Slack status updates to Connected and your workspace name appears next to it. Your next Prepare notification arrives in the EQALL channel at the start of the following day.
Nothing arriving in the channel? Both notifications are on by default, so start by confirming neither was switched off in Settings → Notification Settings, and that Slack still shows Connected. Remember that Prepare only fires at the start of the day and Respond only after a meeting has been processed, so a quiet channel right after setup is expected.
EQALL never stores your Slack credentials. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, rotated automatically, and scoped to the permissions you approve. Access can be revoked at any time in Slack under Apps → EQALL → Configuration, or by an administrator from Manage apps.
How to Use the Integration
Once connected, the Slack integration runs across the full meeting lifecycle, mapped to EQALL's PRO framework.
Your day starts in Slack. The Prepare notification lands in the EQALL channel with a summary of the day ahead: how many meetings you have, which ones are external, and what you have already prepared for. It is your cue to open EQALL, finish prep on anything still uncovered, and use EQALL Rehearse to practice your opener and key questions.
Slack stays quiet while you are in the meeting. Capture keeps running where it already does: natively on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and Zoom, through your meeting bot, or as a voice note on iPhone and iPad. Once the meeting is processed, the Respond notification arrives in the EQALL channel with a meeting summary and your next steps.
Slack tells you the deal moved. EQALL is where you move it. Open the meeting in EQALL to work through:
- Meeting Summary and Sentiment
- Opportunities Identified
- Action Items with owners and due dates
- Follow Up Emails to review, edit, and send
- Coaching that compounds across every meeting
Remove or Disconnect the Integration
Use either of the two paths you used to connect. Go to Avatar → Settings → Notification Settings and disconnect Slack, or go to Avatar → Settings → Integrations → Notification Channels and turn the Slack integration off. Either one releases the OAuth token and stops posting. Your notifications keep arriving in EQALL.
In Slack, open Apps, select EQALL, open Configuration, and click Remove App. Administrators can remove EQALL for everyone from Settings & administration → Manage apps. The EQALL channel and the notifications already posted in it remain in your workspace until you archive or delete the channel.
