What this integration does

EQALL connects to Microsoft via Microsoft Entra OAuth. Once authorized, EQALL ingests Microsoft Teams meeting transcripts, calendar events, and (optionally) contacts and outbound mail. The same OAuth grant covers all four data types, so a single consent flow connects everything EQALL needs from Microsoft 365.

From this data, EQALL generates Sentiment, Opportunities Identified, Action Items with owners and due dates, and Follow Up Emails you review and send.

ℹ️

Setup depends on how you signed in to EQALL. If you signed in with Microsoft, Teams capture is part of the same Microsoft Entra OAuth grant: just select the Read all transcripts of online meetings permission at sign-in. If you signed in with Google, Microsoft Teams is a separate authorization step you complete from EQALL Settings. See Connecting to Microsoft Teams below for both paths.

Get Started with EQALL

If your team is new to EQALL, complete these steps first. Setup takes about five minutes.

1
Sign in to EQALL

Go to eqall.com/en/register/login or download EQALL from the App Store. Select Sign in with Microsoft or Sign in with Google using your company email. Allow all permissions for the best experience.

2
Connect LinkedIn (one-time)

Complete a one-time LinkedIn sign-in to enrich attendee profiles with relationship context, communication styles, and deal-specific insights.

3
Confirm your Products & Services

Go to Avatar Image → Products & Services and review what EQALL has pre-populated. This powers your personalized insights and deal recommendations.

4
Enable notifications (recommended)

Go to Settings → Notifications and turn on Today at a Glance and Meeting Summary to stay on top of every deal.

Admin Consent Options

Microsoft Entra supports three administrator paths for tenant-wide consent, plus the default user-level OAuth. Pick the option that matches your organization's policies.

Option 1. Administrator consents during sign-in

A Global Administrator grants tenant-wide consent by signing into EQALL directly. Easiest method to enable EQALL for the whole organization in one step.

Process
  1. The administrator logs into EQALL using their Microsoft account.
  2. Microsoft displays the permissions consent screen.
  3. The administrator selects Consent on behalf of your organization.
  4. The administrator accepts the permissions request.
Result
  • Permissions are granted for the whole organization.
  • All users in the tenant can access EQALL without requesting consent again.
  • EQALL appears in Enterprise Applications within the tenant.

Option 2. Administrator grants consent from the Entra Admin Center

An administrator grants consent directly from the Microsoft Entra admin portal, typically after a user has attempted to sign in.

Process
  1. Sign in to entra.microsoft.com as a Global Administrator.
  2. Navigate to Identity → Applications → Enterprise applications → All applications.
  3. Select EQALL (visible after a user has attempted to log in).
  4. Open the Permissions section.
  5. Click Grant admin consent.
Result
  • Requested permissions are approved for the tenant.
  • Users can immediately sign in to the application.
  • Permissions can be reviewed, modified, or revoked later.

Option 3. Enable Admin Consent Workflow

For large organizations with formal approval processes. Users request approval; administrators approve or deny without signing into EQALL.

Process
  1. Sign in to entra.microsoft.com.
  2. Navigate to Identity → Applications → Enterprise applications → Consent and permissions.
  3. Enable Admin consent requests.
  4. Configure reviewers (Global Administrators or designated approvers).
  5. Save the configuration.
Result
  • When users attempt to sign in to EQALL, a consent request is created.
  • Administrators can approve or deny without signing into EQALL.
  • Scalable, auditable approval process.

Connecting EQALL to Microsoft Teams

How you connect Teams depends on which provider you used to sign in to EQALL. Pick the path that matches your situation.

Path A. You signed in to EQALL with Microsoft (Entra OAuth)

The Teams integration is part of the same Microsoft Entra OAuth grant you completed at sign-in, so there is no separate connect step.

1
In MicrosoftSelect the Transcripts permission during authentication

When Microsoft displays the Entra OAuth consent screen, select Read all transcripts of online meetings alongside the other permissions. Teams capture is enabled as soon as authentication completes.

2
In MicrosoftConfirm the granted permissions in Entra

Review or re-confirm the granted scopes at any time from the Microsoft Entra authentication permissions page.

💡

Already signed in but did not grant the Transcripts scope? Sign out and sign back in to re-trigger the consent screen, or have your administrator re-grant consent with the Transcripts scope included via the Entra Admin Center.

Path B. You signed in to EQALL with Google

Microsoft Teams requires a separate authorization step after sign-in.

1
In EQALLOpen the Microsoft Teams integration page

Go to Avatar → Settings → Integrations → Collaboration → Microsoft Teams and click Connect. EQALL redirects you to Microsoft sign-in.

2
In MicrosoftAuthenticate via single sign-on

Microsoft displays the OAuth consent screen. See the Permissions Requested section above for the full list of scopes.

3
In MicrosoftApprove the requested permissions

Click Accept to complete the OAuth flow. Global Administrators can select Consent on behalf of your organization to grant tenant-wide access at the same time.

4
Microsoft → EQALLConfirm Connected status

EQALL redirects you back. The Microsoft Teams status updates to Connected. EQALL begins ingesting Teams transcripts as they become available.

🔒

EQALL never stores your Microsoft credentials. OAuth tokens are scoped to the consenting user's existing permissions and can be revoked at any time from the Entra Admin Center.

How to Use the Integration

Once connected, the Microsoft Teams integration runs across the full meeting lifecycle, mapped to EQALL's PRO framework.

Prepare

Calendar events sync into EQALL. Open the upcoming Teams meeting in EQALL to see attendee profiles, communication style recommendations, commonalities, and a suggested agenda. Use EQALL Rehearse to practice your opener and key questions.

Respond

Run your Teams meeting as usual. Recording and transcript generation are controlled in Teams. Once the transcript is available, EQALL ingests it automatically.

Outperform

Open the meeting in EQALL to review:

  • Meeting Summary and Sentiment
  • Opportunities Identified
  • Action Items with owners and due dates
  • Follow Up Emails (sent through Microsoft on your behalf if you granted the Send mail scope, or copy-paste otherwise)

Remove or Disconnect the Integration

A
Disconnect from inside EQALL

Go to Avatar → Settings → Integrations → Collaboration → Microsoft Teams and click Disconnect. EQALL releases the OAuth tokens and stops syncing Microsoft data.

B
Revoke consent from Entra (admin)

Sign in to entra.microsoft.com, go to Enterprise applications → EQALL → Permissions, and revoke or delete the app. This removes EQALL access for every user in the tenant at once.

Setup Checklist

  • EQALL account created and signed in
