What this integration does

EQALL connects to Cisco Webex via Webex OAuth. Once authorized, EQALL ingests Webex meeting data, recordings, and transcripts. A single consent flow covers everything EQALL needs from your Webex account.

From this data, EQALL generates Sentiment, Opportunities Identified, Action Items with owners and due dates, and Follow Up Emails you review and send.

ℹ️

Webex is a separate authorization step. You sign in to EQALL with Google or Microsoft using your company email, then connect Webex from EQALL Settings. See Connecting to Webex below for the full flow.

Get Started with EQALL

If your team is new to EQALL, complete these steps first. Setup takes about five minutes.

1
Sign in to EQALL

Go to eqall.com/en/register/login or download EQALL from the App Store. Select Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft using your company email. Allow all permissions for the best experience.

2
Connect LinkedIn (one-time)

Complete a one-time LinkedIn sign-in to enrich attendee profiles with relationship context, communication styles, and deal-specific insights.

3
Confirm your Products & Services

Go to Avatar Image → Products & Services and review what EQALL has pre-populated. This powers your personalized insights and deal recommendations.

4
Enable notifications (recommended)

Go to Settings → Notifications and turn on Today at a Glance and Meeting Summary to stay on top of every deal.

Permissions Requested

EQALL requests the following Webex OAuth scopes. The first three are required for the integration to function; the rest are optional and unlock additional capabilities.

Permission (Webex scope)Why EQALL needs it
Read your basic profile Required Identify the Webex account connected to EQALL and match it to your user record.
Read information about your Webex meetings Required Retrieve your meeting list and metadata so EQALL knows which meetings to ingest.
Read your Webex meeting recordings and transcripts Required Retrieve recordings and transcripts so EQALL can summarize, identify opportunities, sentiment, action items, and insights.
Read meeting participants Optional Access attendee data to enrich profiles in EQALL.
Read your Webex contacts and directory Optional Enrich attendee profiles with organization directory information.

Admin Consent Options

Webex defaults to user-level consent. If your administrator has restricted third-party integrations in Webex Control Hub, the admin must allow EQALL before users can authorize.

Option 1. User authorization (default)

By default, Webex allows users to grant consent to EQALL directly during the OAuth flow. No admin action is required.

Process
  1. User clicks Connect in EQALL.
  2. Webex displays the permissions consent screen.
  3. User reviews and approves the requested scopes.
Result
  • OAuth tokens are issued per user.
  • EQALL's access is limited to the consenting user's existing Webex permissions.
  • Tokens can be revoked at any time from settings.webex.com under My Apps.

Option 2. Admin allows EQALL in Control Hub (restricted tenants)

If your administrator has restricted third-party integration access, the admin must explicitly allow EQALL in Webex Control Hub before users can authorize.

Process
  1. Sign in to admin.webex.com as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Apps → Integrations (or Management → Apps on newer Control Hub builds).
  3. Locate EQALL and set the status to Allowed for your organization.
Result
  • Users can now authorize EQALL through the standard Webex OAuth flow.
  • Access is governed by the user's existing Webex permissions.
  • The admin can revoke the allow-list entry at any time from the same console.

Option 3. Enable cloud recording & transcripts in Control Hub

EQALL can only ingest meetings that Webex has recorded and transcribed. To guarantee every meeting produces an MP4 recording and a transcript, an administrator should enable both at the site level in Webex Control Hub.

Process
  1. Sign in to admin.webex.com as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Services → Meeting → Sites.
  3. Select your site and click Configure Site.
  4. Open Common Settings → Site Options.
  5. Enable Cloud Recording and turn on Create recording transcripts for all MP4 recordings.
Result
  • New Webex meetings on the site are recorded to the cloud as MP4 files.
  • Each MP4 recording automatically generates a transcript that EQALL can ingest.
  • EQALL produces Meeting Minutes, Summary, Sentiment, Opportunities, Action Items, and Follow Up Emails from the recording and transcript.

Connecting EQALL to Webex

Webex is connected as a separate step after you sign in to EQALL. The flow is the same regardless of whether you signed in with Google or Microsoft.

1
In EQALLOpen the Webex integration page

Go to Avatar → Settings → Integrations → Collaboration → Webex and click Connect. EQALL redirects you to the Webex sign-in screen.

2
In WebexAuthenticate with your Webex account

Enter your Webex email and complete your organization's sign-in (password, SSO, or MFA, depending on your tenant).

3
In WebexReview and approve the requested permissions

Webex displays the OAuth consent screen listing the scopes EQALL is requesting. See the Permissions Requested section above for the full list. Click Accept to complete the OAuth flow.

4
Webex → EQALLConfirm Connected status

EQALL redirects you back. The Webex status updates to Connected. EQALL begins ingesting Webex recordings and transcripts as they become available.

💡

Don't see recordings appear? Webex only exposes meeting content to EQALL after the meeting host enables cloud recording and (optionally) transcription. Confirm both are turned on in the host's Webex preferences or in your organization's site settings.

🔒

EQALL never stores your Webex credentials. OAuth tokens are scoped to the consenting user's existing Webex permissions and can be revoked at any time from settings.webex.com or by the administrator in Webex Control Hub.

How to Use the Integration

Once connected, the Webex integration runs across the full meeting lifecycle, mapped to EQALL's PRO framework.

Prepare

Calendar events sync into EQALL from your primary provider (Google or Microsoft) and are matched to upcoming Webex meetings. Open the upcoming meeting in EQALL to see attendee profiles, communication style recommendations, commonalities, and a suggested agenda. Use EQALL Rehearse to practice your opener and key questions.

Respond

Run your Webex meeting as usual. Cloud recording and transcription are controlled in Webex by the host. Once the recording and transcript are processed by Webex, EQALL ingests them automatically.

Outperform

Open the meeting in EQALL to review:

  • Meeting Summary and Sentiment
  • Opportunities Identified
  • Action Items with owners and due dates
  • Follow Up Emails (sent through your connected mail provider, or copy-paste otherwise)

Remove or Disconnect the Integration

A
Disconnect from inside EQALL

Go to Avatar → Settings → Integrations → Collaboration → Webex and click Disconnect. EQALL releases the OAuth tokens and stops syncing Webex data.

B
Revoke access in your Webex account

Sign in to settings.webex.com, open My Apps, locate EQALL, and click Remove. Administrators can revoke access for the entire organization from Webex Control Hub.

Setup Checklist

  • EQALL account created and signed in (Google or Microsoft)
  • LinkedIn connected (one-time step)
  • Products & Services reviewed in EQALL
  • Webex tenant allows user consent, OR admin has allowed EQALL in Control Hub
  • Webex integration connected in EQALL (status shows Connected)
